BEDDING DORM ROOM ESSENTIALS FOR GUYS:

1. Mattress Topper/mattress pad

Here’s a little tip: don’t forget to pick up a mattress pad while you’re at it. The most uncomfortable dorm mattresses exist, so if you want any hope of getting a restful night’s sleep at school, you’ll need one.

Dorm rooms come with mattresses, but if you live in an apartment that isn’t completely furnished, you’ll need one as well.

2. Sheets

Amazon has you covered whether you’re a fleece, microfiber, or regular sheets kind of guy. Most college beds are twin XL so unless you’ve been told other wise I’d go for that.

3. Bedding

You may be able to use your old comforter if you have a smaller bed at home. However, most college beds are twin XL, so you’ll probably need a new comforter.

4. Pillows

16. Microwaveable Meals

Microwavable Dorm room food is awesome for emergency Dining hall closures or when you’re feeling too tired to leave your Dorm. Might be a bit of a costly expense, but defiantly worth it.

17. Coffee Maker

It’s Dorm life so having a coffee maker probably isn’t necessary, but it’s definitely another Dorm room essential for guys if you’re not too keen on instant Dining hall Diner coffee.

18. Ziploc Bags

This is a great way to keep your food fresh and avoid it from spoiling or for packing lunch on the go.

19. Small Fridge

If you don’t have a Dorm fridge, a mini fridge is a great. It’s not much but it will make your Dorm life a bit more convenient

20. Brita

If you can afford it, a Brita water pitcher is ideal since Dorm tap water isn’t particularly tasty.

21. Mini blender

A hand blender is ideal for making protein shakes and basic smoothies.
